About us: speech processing and more ...

The chair of Prof. Düsterhöft deals with recent topics in the field of multimedia systems and databases. A special focus represents the area of speech processing. After completion of the project "Natural Language Laboratory" (NatLab), the research group "Speech Technology" was created, which is doing research in the context of different research projects and integrates the results in reference-applications in the areas of medicine, tourism and building automation. The research assistants are supervising different topics like:

• dialog systems
• knowledge-representation
• text-to-speech-synthesis (TTS)
• automatic speech recognition (ASR)
